We SETTLED!!

As of November 25, 2008, we are officially homeowners.

We went to settlement at 11am on November 25th and by noon we received the keys. The entire process was smooth and easier then we ever thought it would be. Right after settlement was complete we decided to go back to our apartment, pack up the cars, and take a drive over to the new house. It felt amazing standing in our driveway and looking at the house that was not even built three months ago. So much has happened in so little time and we are just thrilled to finally be in our first home.

Stay tune for updated pictures of the house. We are still waiting for our cable company to finish the installation process. Unfortunately it is taking longer then expected because they have to survey the property and dig to put the lines in (since our home was a new construction). Once that is finished we will post pictures of the house.
